The Carpenter Creative Corridor (CCC) is a decentralized community art school along the north Hamtramck/Detroit border. The CCC offers ongoing free public art classes for all and is funded by the Michigan Community Center Grant through the Michigan Community Service Commission.

We will learn how to glaze the things we made during the free clay day workshop! We will demonstrate how to glaze and talk about glazing for a wood kiln. This workshop is free and open to the public for all ages, all skill levels, and will be an outdoor event (with a tent if it rains!)

We will fire the wood kiln all day on Sunday the 19th! Come by during the workshop to learn in detail about the firing process and to put some logs into the kiln yourself to fire the ceramics! This workshop is free and open to the public for all ages, all skill levels, and will be an outdoor event (with a tent if it rains!)
