Please take a class or workshop with us before applying for a membership, with few exceptions. We are a very small and intimate studio with limited space, and we prioritize memberships for folks that have taken a class or have had some involvement with our studio.

Ceramics Schools studio members are given a 2’ x 2’ x 2’ shelf and have access to the studio from 8am - Midnight seven days a week, with the only exception being class times and occasional open studio events. Our studio is a communal and educational space, we expect our members to be a part of the Ceramics School community and to be kind and accessible to students, other members and visitors. Members are encouraged to use the clay for sale at our studio, and glaze and firings are included in the cost of the monthly fee. Clay is sold in 25 Lb boxes. Members are given an individual access code to enter the studio. Members must be at least 18 years of age and should have some experience working with ceramics.

Our studio is not intended to facilitate production pottery, we are a small space and need to be able to accommodate all of our member’s and student’s work.

We may prioritize acceptance for people who have taken a class with us and shelfless members. Ceramics School is a community art space with the intention of facilitating a safe, supportive, critical and creative environment for humans of all races, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, and experience levels.

Memberships are $125 a month. We ask to be given a month notice of departure. Please inquire via e-mail about receiving a need-based scholarship to lower the price of a membership.
